‘No FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia’ action held in London. Photos, video

London has recently joined the international campaign, an Ukrinform correspondent learnt from the Patriots of Ukraine Worldwide Movement.

"We demand to ban Russia from hosting the World Cup. FIFA's decision to hold the World Cup [in Russia] was bought for blood money of the corruption regime," noted the participants in the rally, which was held in front of the Russian embassy in London.

Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine in the United Kingdom also called on Putin to end the war and get out of the Ukrainian land.

"Crimea is Ukraine," Ukrainian activists reminded Europeans and Russian diplomats.

As reported, the rallies against holding the finals of the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia this year as well as with the demands to stop the war against Ukraine have already been held in many countries of the world on three continents.
