Odesa, Istanbul mayors discuss prospects for strengthening cooperation

Odesa City Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov and Mayor of Istanbul Mevlüt Uysal discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation in the field of economy and culture.
The Odesa mayor held a meeting during a working trip to Istanbul on December 20-21, the press service of the Odesa City Council reported.
"During the meeting, the parties reached agreements on further cooperation in the field of economy and culture. In particular, the possibilities of attracting investments in construction, transport and tourism spheres were considered," the statement reads.
The mayors of the two cities discussed the possibility of installing a tourist symbol of Odesa – the anchor in the form of heart - in Istanbul in the spring of 2018.
