Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that the World Bank will assist Ukraine in carrying out reforms, in particular in creating a new healthcare system.

He stated this at a briefing following the meeting with World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We spoke about land reform, about healthcare reform, and I am very glad that we agreed to unite efforts to build a new high-quality healthcare system in Ukraine," Groysman said.

In addition, according to the prime minister, the parties discussed cooperation in the education system, as well as implementation of infrastructure projects.

"We discussed the issue of completing the creation of a full-fledged anti-corruption infrastructure in the country. The government and I personally support the creation of an anti-corruption court,” Groysman added.

The prime minister also stressed that he counts on the cooperation with the World Bank because such cooperation is an important element in strengthening the Ukrainian economy.
