He stressed this during a speech at the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the National Opera Theater of Ukraine, according to the page of the head of state on Facebook.

"I would like to thank for concerts in the ATO area, charity performances for the ATO veterans and their family members, for a concert piano given to the school of arts in Sloviansk," Poroshenko noted.

"The present theater team is a worthy successor to the traditions cherished by masters of opera and ballet for a century and a half. It is extremely important that there is always sold-out in this fantastic hall. And this, in my opinion, is the best indicator of success. This is a great achievement of the leadership of the theater and the whole staff of the theater," Poroshenko said.
