Social Policy Ministry: Payments to IDPs may be raised

The Social Policy Ministry of Ukraine is considering the issue on raising payments to internally displaced persons (IDP) from temporary uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and Crimea.
Deputy Social Policy Minister Mykola Shambir stated this on Radio Donbas.Realii, Radio Svoboda reports.
"We are considering the issue of a small increase in payments for the next year. This is an issue of the budget for next year …" he said.
As of October 2, 2017, the Social Policy Ministry registered 1,596,644 IDPs from Donbas and Crimea, UAH 2.1 billion was paid to the recipients of assistance.
