Three new schools open in Kyiv on the first day of the new academic year.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced this at the opening of the teaching and educational complex "Erudyt" in Solomyansky district of the capital, where Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman was also present, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Today, except for this school, two more schools open in the city of Kyiv," the mayor said.
Klitschko also recalled that 32 thousand first-graders went to school this year.
