Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival to be held annually in May

The next 47th Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival (KIFF) will be held from May 27 till June 3, 2018, the KIFF’s press service reports. 

“Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival announces new annual dates. The festival will take place in the last week of May. This decision was agreed by festival management, International Federation of Film Producers Associations FIAPF and Kyiv City Council,” reads a report posted on the official website of the festival.

Also, the KIFF’s organizers plan to hold the special event "Molodist. Prologue” on October 21-22, 2017. During these days, the new Molodist-47 Festival will be presented.

General Director of Molodist KIFF, Andrii Khalpakhchi, said that colleagues from FIAPF, Berlin, Cannes and Venice Film Festivals, as well as Kyiv City Council supported the decision on new dates of the festival.

A reminder that the Day of Kyiv in celebrated annually at the last weekend of May.
