Ukrainian Studio of Television Films gets new director

Chairman of Ukraine’s State Television and Radio Committee Oleh Nalyvayko at a meeting with the committee’s staff has represented a new director of the Ukrainian Studio of Television Films “Ukrtelefilm”.
“Under a decree of the State Television and Radio Committee, 60-year-old Serhiy Ivanovych Omelchuk has been appointed the director general of the Ukrainian Studio of Television Films “Ukrtelefilm,” the committee’s press service reports.
Serhiy Omelchuk graduated from Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv, department of journalism in 1982. He worked on the Ukrainian Radio, headed Kyrovohrad State Regional Television and Radio Company, was deputy director of Kyiv State Regional Television and Radio Company and secretary of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine.
