President Poroshenko congratulates Ukrainian Bible Society on 25th anniversary

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has congratulated the Ukrainian Bible Society on its 25th anniversary, the press service of the head of state reports.
"Your active long-term efforts in spreading the word of God in our country and the implementation of many charitable projects are a good example of your service to God and to the people of Ukraine. I highly appreciate your contribution to the preservation of Christian values in the Ukrainian society, spiritual heritage of our people and strengthening the authority of the Bible as an inexhaustible source of wisdom and morality. You are making all the efforts to establish the ideals of truth, dignity and charity," Poroshenko’s letter noted.
The President is convinced that cooperation between the various Christian denominations united in the Bible Society will continue to promote peace and harmony on the Ukrainian land.
