VR speaker promises to sign law on Ukrainian songs as soon as possible

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy says he will sign a law on the share of songs in the state language on the radio as early as possible.
“I will sign the law as soon as possible. We have opened today the [radio] broadcasting for the Ukrainian music, songs,” Parubiy said this at a press briefing today, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He also noted that according to this law, each third song on the radio will be in the Ukrainian language.
As earlier reported, today Ukrainian MPs have passed the law on the quotas of Ukrainian songs on the radio.
