Ukraine, Israel’s top diplomats discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations

Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba met with his Israeli counterpart Eli Cohen met in Kyiv to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations, increase aid to Ukraine, and address common security challenges.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"Welcome to Kyiv, Eli Cohen. Ukraine is thankful for all of the support that Israel and Israelis have provided over the past year. During our detailed and frank talks, we focused on ways to enhance bilateral relations, increase assistance, and address shared security challenges," the tweet reads.

As reported, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Eli Cohen, arrived in Kyiv on Thursday – for the first time since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
