The "Council of Ministers" of the annexed Crimea at a meeting on Tuesday, April 17, decided to transfer a land plot of more than 6,500 square meters on Tuzla Island into ownership of the Russian Federation.

The plot was transferred for the construction of an infrastructure facility on the territory of the island – the Kerch Bridge, DW writes.

As noted, the Russian Federation will become the "owner" of the site after the so-called delivery-acceptance act. The delivery is now at the final stage.

"The corresponding decision was taken after consideration of the statement of the Federal State Administration "The Department of Federal Roads "Taman” Rosavtodor", writes the Interfax agency with reference to the document.

The Federal State Administration "The Department of Federal Roads "Taman” Rosavtodor" is the customer of the Crimean Bridge construction.

It is noted that the transport link will connect the Kerch and the Taman peninsulas through the Tuzla Island and Tuzla Spit.
