Ukraine has received 39 units of industrial boiler equipment with a total capacity of nearly 53 MW from Italy. The equipment will be transferred to frontline communities.

Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba stated this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"A batch of assistance from the Government of Italy has arrived in Ukraine. It includes 39 units of industrial boiler equipment with a total capacity of nearly 53 MW – modular and hot-water boilers together with burners, components, filters, and auxiliary systems," the statement says.

The total weight of this shipment exceeds 109 tons, and the estimated value of the humanitarian aid is EUR 835,500.

Additional batches are expected to arrive in the coming days. First and foremost, the equipment will be delivered to frontline regions.

Kuleba noted that this is only part of a broader support program agreed upon by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Chair of the Council of Ministers of Italy Giorgia Meloni.

Overall, Italy has agreed to transfer 78 units of heat engineering equipment with a combined capacity of 116 MW. The boilers can operate as primary or backup heat sources for hospitals, schools, administrative buildings, critical infrastructure facilities, as well as within municipal boiler houses and district heating systems.

As he emphasized, such solutions help strengthen heat supply, address emergency needs after shelling, and reduce the vulnerability of communities during the winter period.

As reported earlier, Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov said that a batch of heating equipment from Italy would arrive in Ukraine in the coming days to support regions most affected by Russian terror.
