Russian propagandists fabricate video about women's service

Russian Telegram channels shared a video that they tried to pass off as a Ukrainian motivational video from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The video consists of various clips and is accompanied by the text that "a real woman should be a whore in the bed, a housewife in the kitchen and ... a defendress on the front." At the end of the video, the propagandists added the address of a Ukrainian Armed Forces website with a call to join the ranks of the Ukrainian army.

The video is fake. Such a video cannot be found on the official websites of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Clips that were used to fabricate the video can be found on the internet. Although there are no similar results in Google's reverse image search, they were found through the Russian search engine Yandex. One fragment of the "motivational video" was uploaded to YouTube three years ago.

Another fragment was found in the Pexels virtual photo and video library.

It appeared on the service on April 23, 2020.
