Jamala to perform three songs during Eurovision 2017 in Kyiv
Ukrinform learnt this from the ESC press service.
"The Eurovision Song Contest 2017 aims to show the diversity of Ukraine – the country with rich traditions and modern development. The organizers elaborate a unique creative concept of the show every year. The first semi-final in Ukraine will start with a video demonstration of the beauty and uniqueness of the Ukrainian folk costume. To reveal the concept of diversity, we also invited a modern Ukrainian multiartist MONATIK to perform. Jamala will be the headliner of the first semi-final," said competition producer of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 Christer Bjorkman.
Today, May 9, Jamala will perform a symphonic version of the song 1944 and the song Lured, created in collaboration with the DakhaBrakha ethno-chaos band.
