Main favorite of Eurovision 2017 arrived in Ukraine

On Thursday evening, Italian representative at Eurovision Francesco Gabbani arrived in the Boryspil International Airport in Kyiv. Bookmakers from the first days are predicting victory for Italy at the song contest this year.
"A lot of Ukrainian journalists came to meet Gabbani at the Boryspil airport. The Italian did not go out for about 40 minutes to the press and then got into his bus and drove under police escort to his apartments," Apostrophe website reported.
Answering a question about the fact that he is called a likely winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, Gabbani notes that he prefers not to think about it yet.
Since Italy is a member of the Big Five, Gabbani with his song "Occidentali's Karma" will perform in the Eurovision final on May 13.
