Contemporary art festival Kyiv Art Week to be held during Eurovision 2017

The second international contemporary art festival Kyiv Art Week will be held on May 4-7 during the hosting of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv.
This is stated in a press release issued by Kyiv Art Week.
This year the festival will combine significant artistic places of Kyiv city with the main theme of the week - Art Now, which aims to show the public the best works of contemporary art.
“Kyiv Art Week has several important missions that were identified last year and actively implemented, namely to develop the image of Kyiv as a European cultural capital; to make the city attractive for international tourism; to revive the interest of international institutions in the Ukrainian culture and maintain unique multicultural dialogue with neighboring countries,” reads a report.
