Eight Ukrainians were killed in a road accident in the Pskov region of Russia in the early hours of February 13, according to the Telegram channel MASH.

A private Minibus van with Ukrainians license plates collided with a Volvo truck with Belarusian license plates, the report said.

According to preliminary information, the victims were returning from St. Petersburg to Kyiv.

"The truck driver, Vyacheslav Ryabov (Belarus), and the only survivor on the Mercedes, passenger Mykhailo Zelenchuk (Ukraine), were hospitalized in moderate condition. The preliminary cause of the accident is that the bus driver did not observe the overtaking distance and collided with the truck," the report reads.
