Over 100 towns and villages in Ukraine left without electricity due to bad weather

As of Tuesday morning, October 1, some 102 populated areas in five regions of Ukraine were left without electricity due to bad weather conditions, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has reported.
“Bad weather conditions (strong wind, rain and thunderstorm) caused blackouts in 102 populated areas in five regions, in particular: Lviv region – 55 populated areas, Ternopil region – 18, Volyn region – 12, Kyiv region – 9, and Zhytomyr region – 8,” reads the report.
Emergency response teams of regional power distribution companies were involved in carrying out the necessary repairs to resume electricity supply.
