Over 200 towns and villages in Ukraine left without electricity due to bad weather

As of Wednesday morning, August 14, some 205 populated areas in five regions of Ukraine were left without electricity due to bad weather conditions, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has reported.
“Bad weather conditions (strong wind, rain, thunderstorm and hail) caused blackouts in 205 populated areas in five regions, in particular: Chernihiv region – 105 populated areas, Lviv region – 40, Chernivtsi region – 26, Kyiv region – 24, and Zhytomyr region – 10,” reads the report.
Emergency teams of regional power distribution companies were involved in carrying out the necessary repairs to resume electricity supply.
