Bad weather leaves 117 towns and villages in Ukraine without electricity

As of Thursday morning, 117 populated areas in Ukraine were without electricity supply because of bad weather conditions.
This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“Adverse weather conditions (hail, thunderstorm, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 117 populated areas in seven regions: Zaporizhzhia region – 30 populated areas, Dnipropetrovsk region – 24, Zhytomyr region – 20, Kyiv region – 14, Donetsk region – 13, Luhansk region – 12, Kirovohrad region - 4,” reads the report.
Emergency teams of Oblenergo are carrying out needed repair works to resume electricity supply.
