Death toll from road accident in Kryvy Rih rises to nine

The death toll from a road accident in Kryvy Rih has risen to nine after another person died in hospital.
Head of the Reception Department at Kryvy Rih City Clinical Hospital No. 2 Volodymyr Stepanov confirmed the information to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"An injured man died in hospital at about 10 o'clock in the morning. Vitaliy Viktorovych Mishchenko, 47, died in an intensive care unit," Stepanov said.
As reported, eight people were killed and 21 more were injured after a Mazda car, a passenger van and a bus collided at the intersection of Metalurhiv Avenue and Heroiv ATO Street in Kryvy Rih on April 17.
The police opened criminal proceedings under Part 3, Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Law enforcers handed a Mazda driver a written notice of suspicion in committing the crime.
