Critical fire weather conditions expected in some regions of Ukraine in coming days

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has issued a warning for critical fire weather conditions expected in some regions of Ukraine on August 19-22.
"On August 19-22, extreme (5 class) fire hazard is expected in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Volyn, Khmelnytsky regions,” the State Emergency Service reported.
In Kyiv and Kyiv region, extreme (5 class) fire hazard is expected on August 19-22.
The Emergency Service called on Ukrainian citizens to follow general fire safety rules while staying in forests, parks, and open areas and not to provoke fires in ecosystems.
