Bad weather leaves 199 Ukrainian towns and villages without electricity

Adverse weather conditions have left 199 towns and villages in Ukraine without electricity, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.
“As of 7 a.m., April 20, bad weather conditions caused blackouts in 199 populated areas in five regions, particularly: 99 villages and towns - in Kharkiv region, 72 - in Dnipropetrovsk region, 14 -in Poltava region, 9 - in Kherson region, and 5 - in Zaporizhzhia region,” reads a report.
Emergency teams of Oblenergo are conducting needed repairs to resume electricity supply.
As of 7 a.m., April 20, there were no reports about significant traffic jams on national and local motorways.
A total of 2,901 people and 1, 026 unites of equipment are involved in the operations to eliminate the aftermath of bad weather.
