Over 2,000 tonnes of snow removed from streets of Kyiv

Over 2,000 tonnes of snow have been removed from the roads and streets of Kyiv, the press service of Kyiv City State Administration reports.
“A total of 2,078 tonnes of snow were taken from the capital over the past twenty-four hours to the sites for temporary storage of snow,” reads a report.
According to the relevant department of Kyiv City State Administration, over the past day 357 units of special equipment and 5,491 people were involved in cleaning of streets and roads of the capital from snow. Also, 375.4 tonnes of sand and salt mixture was used.
