President instructs Prosecutor General to take investigation into situation with Inter TV channel under personal control

President Petro Poroshenko has instructed Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko to take the investigation into the incident with Inter TV channel that had occurred on September 4 under his personal control.
It has been stated by the President at the meeting with security officials, the press service of the Head of State reported.
“I have instructed the Prosecutor General to take the investigation under personal control, as there are many questions left,” Petro Poroshenko said.
The Head of State has also instructed Interior Minister Arsen Avakov to make every effort to ensure law and order on the streets of Kyiv and throughout Ukraine.
The Head of State has emphasized that security agencies must prevent the escalation of violence and the activities of media must be judged under the law.
The President emphasized that the Security Service of Ukraine must ensure proper information and analytical support.
