Ukraine has not violated any international aviation agreements in the situation with the crash of Malaysian Boeing over Donbas region.

Ukrainian Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko said at a press conference, when asked by Ukrinform correspondent about the position of the department regarding the suit against Ukraine filed by German families to the European Court of Human Rights.

“According to the progress report, Ukraine fulfilled and observed all international agreements in the sphere of aviation law, and there were no violations of ICAO regulations, as well as the international legislation,” he said.

Petrenko also called as ‘manipulations by the Russian side’ the statements by some experts that Ukraine is responsible for the Malaysian Boeing catastrophe, as the airspace was not shut for the time of anti-terrorist operations in Donbas.

“Nobody could imagine that the Russian Federation could deliver this missile complex. And we understand that drunk terrorists cannot control such high-precision missile, that’s why it is obvious that this is the Russian Federation and its leadership who are guilty of this crime,” the minister said.
