KYIV, March 30 /Ukrinform/. Ukrainian athlete Olha Kharlan won at the Fencing Grand Prix.
This women's tournament took place in Seoul, South Korea during March 28-29, the press service of the National Olympic Committee reported the news on Facebook.
"Our Olha Kharlan is once again the best fencer! The Ukrainian won at the Fencing Grand Prix held in Seoul!" the report says.
According to the tournament's official website, the most difficult opponent of our athlete was Russian Olga Velikaya whom Kharlan defeated 15:11.
Moreover, in the quarterfinals the Ukrainian defeated Hungarian Anita Marton 15: 5, and in the final showdown Kharlan left no chances to American Ibtihaj Muhammad 15: 9.
