Wladimir Klitschko among three best boxers on the planet

KYIV, September 17 /Ukrinform/. IBF/WBA/WBO/IBO and The Ring Magazine world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has been included in the list of the world's three best boxers on a pound-for-pound basis according to the analytical portal BoxRec, reads a statement posted on the website of the Klitschko brothers.

The table is topped by U.S. boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., who defeated Mexican Saul Alvarez last weekend. Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez is second.

The rating takes into account the results of bouts, as well as the level of fighters.

Boxers who did not fight last year are excluded from the list, therefore Vitali Klitschko and Andre Ward who last entered the ring on September 8, 2012 are not on the list.
