KYIV, October 4 /UKRINFORM/. Ukraine lost three positions in the October edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, the Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) said in a statement on Wednesday.
"Ukraine after a match with England lost 3 positions and now rank 42nd in the ranking table, and England moved from 3rd to 5th spot," the FFU reported.
As before, Spain continue to top the FIFA rankings confidently, followed by Germany and Portugal. The next opponents for Ukraine in the World Cup 2014 qualifying campaign will be Moldova and Montenegro, who take 145th and 44th places respectively.
