NDI fields international observation mission for early parliamentary elections in Ukraine

Kyiv, Ukraine – The National Democratic Institute (NDI) announced today the arrival of a high-level international delegation to observe the July 21 early parliamentary elections in Ukraine. The 34-member delegation includes representatives from ten countries and has been accredited by the Central Election Commission. The delegation will issue a preliminary statement of its findings at a press conference scheduled for July 22.

If the elections to the Verkhovna Rada were held in mid-July, the Servant of the People party would garner 52.3% of the vote among respondents who will definitely go to the polls and have already decided on their choice, whereas Opposition Platform - For Life would garner 10.3%, European Solidarity - 7.9%, Batkivshchyna - 5.8%, Strength and Honor - 5.1%, and Holos – 4%, according to a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
