4.4M Ukrainians receive ‘National Cashback’ payments each month
Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Vitalii Kindrativ stated this in an interview with Ukrinform.
“As of today, about 4.4 million Ukrainians receive cashback monthly, and the total amount of payments has reached UAH 6.7 billion. The program includes 1,984 producers and 1,194 sellers,” Kindrativ said.
According to him, nearly 75% of cashback funds are directed toward utility payments. Other uses include spending on medicines, Ukrainian-made food products, books, postal services, and charitable contributions.
Kindrativ noted that the total number of product items eligible for cashback exceeds 400,000. The most widely represented categories are food and light industry, household chemicals, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, home goods, and stationery.
“The main conditions of participation remain unchanged: the product must be of Ukrainian origin, the producer must register it in the program, and the seller must ensure data transfer for cashback accrual,” the Deputy Minister added.
As reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers on March 12 allocated UAH 2.14 billion from the state budget’s reserve fund to provide financial assistance to buyers of Ukrainian-made goods.
