The Danish government has launched a new support program for Ukraine for 2023.

This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, during a briefing in Odesa, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The program's main goal is the reconstruction of Ukraine. A special place in the project will be dedicated to Mykolaiv’s recovery, said Rasmussen.

He stressed that he condemned the recent Russian missile attacks on Mykolaiv, adding that they only reinforce Denmark's determination to help Ukraine.

Success can be achieved only in partnership, as was achieved in the case of the Baltic states, the top diplomat stressed, noting that Ukraine reminds others that freedom is not given for granted but must be fought for.
