As noted, Energy Minister German Galushchenko emphasized that Poland is not just a partner, but one of the biggest friends of Ukraine, which has provided the nation with comprehensive support since the first days of the full-scale war. All types of assistance transferred by Polish partners are being utilized by the Ukrainian energy industry to restore as quickly as possible the facilities damaged by Russian strikes.

According to the minister, the work of the RescEU logistics hub in Poland, which accumulates humanitarian aid from all over Europe and quickly forwards it to Ukraine, is critically important.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, referring to the latest joint assessment by the UN Development Program and World Bank, the damage inflicted on Ukraine’s energy, gas, and heating infrastructure exceeded $10 billion.
