Twenty-four thousand individuals and legal entities have already been put on the list of sponsors and those involved in the war unleashed by Russia.

"Any foreign company that continues to work in the Russian Federation sponsors the murders of Ukrainians. The National Agency on Corruption Prevention has been identifying those involved in the Russian war since the first days of the war at the suggestion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We have created the world's largest database of those involved in the war. These are 24,000 individuals and legal entities. In Ukraine, due to the functioning of this base, sanctions have been imposed on the largest number of individuals and entities in world history," Oleksandr Novikov, Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention of Ukraine (NACP), said during the national news telethon, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, a separate part of this project is the international register of sponsors of war which includes international companies that still work in the Russian Federation. It is automatically indexed by a special database, so any bank or foreign agency will see that this or that company is highlighted as the one that does not do socially responsible business but finances the war. "Fifty-seven percent of consumers in the world adhere to the standards of consumption of products and services from socially responsible companies...  In fact, this is a huge reputational pressure for such companies to suffer losses due to their participation in the Russian war," the NACP head added.

Earlier, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention put the largest Chinese construction contractor in the Russian Federation, China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), on the list of international sponsors of the war. The companies Procter&Gamble, OpenWay Group, Danieli, TMS Tankers Ltd., Minerva Marine Inc., Thenamaris Ships Management, Delta Tankers Ltd., Dynacom Tankers Management Ltd., Leroy Merlin, ComNav Technology, Mondi Group/Mondi PLC, eKassir, Liberian International Ship & Corporate Registry, Bonduelle, Auchan Holding, Metro Cash & Carry, Buzzi Unicem, Yves Rocher, and Raiffeisen Bank International are also on the list.

The role of NACP in sanctions policy is defined in the Individual Sanctions Roadmap developed by the Stanford International Working Group on Russian Sanctions.
