The construction of the first stage of the Tylihul wind farm is near completion in the Mykolaiv region.

The relevant statement was made by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Head Vitalii Kim on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Despite Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, DTEK Renewables is finishing the construction of the first stage of the Tylihul wind farm with a capacity of 114 megawatts out of the total declared capacity of 500 megawatts,” Kim wrote.

In his words, as soon as this spring, 19 wind turbines will be generating electricity and providing support for Ukraine’s energy system.

The company is considering the possibility of finishing construction works and bringing the wind farm to its total designed capacity of 500 megawatts.
