VR appoints Kubrakov as Deputy Prime Minister, Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has dismissed Oleksandr Kubrakov from his post as Infrastructure Minister and immediately appointed him as Deputy Prime Minister, Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister.

The relevant statement was made by Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zhelezniak on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Zhelezniak, a total of 263 Members of Parliament voted in favor of Kubrakov’s appointment. Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal was present during voting.

A reminder that, on November 30, 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received a letter of dismissal from Oleksandr Kubrakov, who had been Ukraine’s Infrastructure Minister since May 20, 2022. Earlier, Kubrakov also served as the Head of Ukraine’s State Agency of Automobile Roads (Ukravtodor).
