France hands Ukraine bridges to restore transport connections in Chernihiv region

The French state-run humanitarian operator CDCS handed over to the State Highway Agency of Ukraine three river crossings to be installed in Chernihiv region.

This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov, Ukrinform reports with reference to the ministry's press service on Facebook.

"The bridges provided by France will be used to improve the mobility of the population in Chernihiv region. The priority is their setup on those sections of roads on which the humanitarian situation in the region critically depends. We are working with our international partners to increase the number of such bridges in the de-occupied regions," he said.

Another two were installed in Kharkiv region, while the rest will be set up in Kherson region.
