Ukraine's accession to the Convention on a Common Transit Procedure and the NCTS system will open more than 35 countries for Ukrainian business.

Deputy Finance Minister of Ukraine for European Integration Yuriy Drahanchuk said this at a press briefing "Preliminary assessment mission for Ukraine's accession to the Convention on a Common Transit Procedure and NCTS - Ukraine's progress and next steps,” an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The Convention on a Common Transit Procedure really opens the way for more than 35 countries to our business. It means simplification, an opportunity to use one package of documents to leave Ukraine and  reach the destination point or, for example, to leave Turkey for Poland through Ukraine and do not additionally stop for providing additional documents,” Drahanchuk said.

As Ukrinform reported, on March 17, 2021, the State Customs Service launched the stage of full-scale national application of the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS).

NCTS is the technology that underlies the European Convention on the Common Transit Procedure.
