Energy efficiency program to become part of Great Construction - Shmyhal

Next year the Great Construction project will include a program on raising energy efficiency, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
"Next year the energy efficiency program will be part of Great Construction. We have several projects with international partners that will allow us to accumulate sufficient funds for this program," Shmyhal said at a government’s meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
According to Shmyhal, this includes the implementation of a joint project with the European Investment Bank "Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings", which envisages the modernization of 1,000 buildings.
As reported, as of November 19, 2021, as part of the EnergoDim program, 662 projects of energy modernization of buildings in Ukraine were at the stages of design, implementation or completion.
