NBU develops draft anti-corruption program for 2022-2023

The National Bank of Ukraine proposes for public discussion a draft Anti-Corruption Program for 2022-2023, which envisages a set of measures to prevent, detect and combat corruption in the central bank

“Adhering to the principles of transparency and openness, the National Bank of Ukraine proposes for public discussion a draft Anti-Corruption Program of the National Bank of Ukraine for 2022 - 2023," the press service of the NBU reported.  

The program envisages a set of measures to prevent, detect and combat corruption in the National Bank, ensure compliance with anti-corruption legislation, create additional safeguards for corruption and corruption-related offenses. It also includes a report on the results of the assessment of corruption risks in the activities of the National Bank. The document is designed to meet the requirements of Article 19 of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption”.

According to the central bank, comments and suggestions on the project are accepted until December 2, 2021.
