NBU purchased $858M on interbank foreign exchange market last week

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) purchased $858.3 million on the interbank foreign exchange market last week, Ukrinform reports, referring to data provided by the central bank.

According to the results of foreign exchange interventions between November 8 and November 12, 2021, the National Bank on the interbank foreign exchange market bought $843.3 million at a single exchange rate and $15 million at the best exchange rate.  

Since the start of 2021, the National Bank sold $246.6 million and purchased $3,601.7 billion on the interbank foreign exchange market.

As reported by Ukrinform, the National Bank sold $3.891 billion and purchased $4.929 billion on the interbank foreign exchange market in 2020.
