Banks provided UAH 1.37B under Affordable Loans program last week

Since the start of the program, authorized banks have issued 28.8 thousand loans for a total sum of UAH 68.3 billion. In particular, UAH 22.14 billion was issued as refinancing of previously received loans, UAH 8.26 billion was received by entrepreneurs for investment purposes and UAH 37.93 billion as anti-crisis loans.

The Finance Ministry noted that the draft state budget for 2022 provides for UAH 3 billion for the program to support Ukrainian entrepreneurs "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%", which will allow providing assistance to 20,000 more entrepreneurs.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution to launch the program "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%" from February 1, 2020.

The program is implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, which has concluded cooperation agreements with 39 banks.
