NBU provides UAH 91M in refinancing to one bank

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) provided UAH 91 million in refinancing to one bank, Ukrinform reports, referring to the central bank’s press service.
“On October 8, 2021, a quantitative tender was held for the refinancing of banks for a term of 28 days. The application of one bank for a total sum of UAH 91.0 million at an interest rate of 9.50% per annum was satisfied,” the report says.
As Ukrinform reported, the National Bank curtails long-term refinancing and interest rate swaps from the fourth quarter of 2021.
In addition, from October 1, the maturity of refinancing loans at weekly tenders was reduced from 90 to 30 days.
