The minimum pension in Ukraine will grow up to UAH 2,600 (about $99) from December 1.

"Increasing the resource base of the Pension Fund will allow the Government to raise pensions from December 1 up to UAH 2,600, as was planned. The move will be due to the increase in the minimum wage to UAH 6,500. This is only part of the measures to implement a comprehensive plan to raise social standards for Ukrainians," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said at the Cabinet’s meeting, the Government portal informs.

According to him, the increase in pensions, salaries, and social benefits will take place on a regular basis, as it is the obligation of the State and the Government.
