Gas injection into underground storage facilities has been temporarily suspended, but JSC Ukrtransgaz may resume it by the end of the week, the company’s press service told Ukrinform.

"Currently, gas injection into Ukrainian underground storage facilities has been temporarily suspended. This process depends on the volume of natural gas consumption and weather conditions. If temperature changes, gas injection into underground storage facilities may be resumed even this week," the company’s press service informed.

As reported, as of October 1, 2021, the Ukrainian gas storage operator accumulated 18.7 billion cubic meters of gas in underground storage facilities. The company noted that there are sufficient gas stocks in its underground storage facilities to ensure a stable 2021-2022 heating season.
