The draft state budget for 2022 provides for UAH 3 billion for the program to support Ukrainian entrepreneurs "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%".

The Finance Ministry wrote about this on its Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.

“The draft budget for 2022 is an investment in people, the country and the future. One of the priorities of the budget is the state support for business, namely the program ‘Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%’ initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky, which was launched in February 2020. The program is aimed at supporting Ukrainian entrepreneurs, and next year it will continue its work - the draft budget for 2022 provides for UAH 3 billion for it,” reads the report.

As noted, after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the program became a platform that included a number of anti-crisis measures.

“As part of ‘[Affordable Loans at] 5-7-9%’, thousands of enterprises were supported: timely measures helped to maintain financial balance during the crisis and, as a result, maintain the financial stability of the Ukrainian banking sector. To date, 38 authorized banks have issued 23,675 loans for the total sum of more than UAH 62 billion, which proves its unconditional success,” reads the report.
