Draft state budget for 2022 includes UAH 100M for tourism industry – Tkachenko

The draft state budget for 2022 provides for UAH 100 million for the tourism industry, Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko told Ukrinform.

"[UAH} 100 million has been allocated [for tourism], the same as this year,” he said.

According to him, this amount of funding will be enough to implement all planned projects in the tourism industry in 2022.

As Ukrinform reported, on September 15, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft law on Ukraine's state budget for 2022.

The draft state budget envisages GDP growth of 3.8%, inflation of 6.2%, and the exchange rate of UAH 28.6 per U.S. dollar. Revenues are projected at UAH 1,277 billion, expenditures - at UAH 1,465 billion. The budget deficit is expected to fall to 3.5% next year.
