Ukrgasvydobuvannya transfers UAH 1B of rent payments to local budgets

“In January-August 2021, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, which is part of Naftogaz Group, transferred more than UAH 1 billion in rent payments to the local budgets where the company produces hydrocarbons. Overall, the consolidated budget of the country will receive more than UAH 20.2 billion in rent payments from Ukrgasvydobuvannya for eight months of 2021,” reads the report.

It is noted that the company transfers rent payments to budgets of various levels in 12 regions. About 90% of these funds are concentrated in two gas-producing regions - Kharkiv and Poltava regions.

In general, the funds from rent payments are distributed among the regions as follows: Kharkiv region - UAH 484.9 million, Poltava region - UAH 446.5 million, Lviv region - UAH 44.5 million, Dnipropetrovsk region - UAH 16.8 million, and other regions - UAH 20.8 million.

As reported, Ukrgasvydobuvannya produced 9.08 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January-August 2021, which is 5% less than in the same period of 2020.
