UBTA, MFA sign memorandum of cooperation

"Ukrainian Business and Trade Association (UBTA) supports the initiative of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba to move to more active economic diplomacy and promotion of Ukrainian exports in European and other key international markets. To this end, UBTA Executive Director Olena Kudliak and Deputy Foreign Minister Dmytro Senik signed a memorandum of understanding today,” the report reads.

The memorandum outlines cooperation priorities, ranging from trade missions to participation of Ukrainian companies in international exhibitions and all other events that strengthen the reputation and recognition of Ukrainian companies, goods and services abroad.

UBTA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine already have a positive partnership experience, and the signing of the memorandum will only strengthen the systematic work to achieve the above goals. The Association also joined the Exporters and Investors Council platform run by the Ministry.

Senik expressed hope that cooperation with UBTA could become a good case of practical cooperation between the ministry and Ukrainian business in the international market.

As a reminder, the Council of Exporters and Investors under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is a platform on which the Ministry accumulates information on investment and trade opportunities from around the world. The Council facilitates business contacts between Ukrainian exporters and importers abroad.
